We feel we can offer you a week that is both full of lacrosse and that will be fun for you and your team. Here are many of the most commonly asked questions, but please feel free to contact us if you want more detailed information.
Please feel free to call either email or call us. If we are not immediately available we will call back as soon as possible. Please leave a home number if you don't mind being contacted in the evening. We are looking forward to spring and lacrosse season!

How do we get there?
The island is forty minutes from the Savannah, Ga. airport. Hilton Head has its own small commercial air terminal with service on US Air. Many major carriers have service into Savannah. We are not travel agents but we have been working closely with Carlson-Wagonlit of Hilton Head and they are very good at finding affordable air transportation. We recommend that you give them a call at 1-800-673-6311. Ask for Carole. Hilton Head Island is connected to the mainland by a series of bridges so you can drive directly onto the island. You will need transportation to get around on the island and we can help you arrange for vans of varying sizes, depending upon your needs. Many teams drive to Hilton Head as it is a day's drive from the Mid-Atlantic and Ohio, 16 hours from New York and the upper Midwest, and 20 hours from Boston.
Where do we stay?
All teams are housed in Harbour Town Yacht Club villas in the heart of Harbour Town. These are vacation villas of one, two and three and four bedrooms. The facility includes a pool, miles of bike trails, and an ocean beach within walking or running distance. Laundry facilities are either in the villas or within the building. The Yacht Club Conference Center has meeting rooms that can be utilized for "chalk talks" or to view game tapes.Harbour town is a beautiful and safe location. You may recognize it by its signature lighthouse or as the site of the MCI golf tournament.
What are the dates?
This year we are running sessions from mid February to April 2. Teams come for varied lengths of time, from four to seven days, with most high schools coming six or seven days on average, and colleges five to six days on average.
What about meals?
We offer an excellent breakfast/dinner meal plan at the Yacht Club conference center. In addition, the villas are equipped with full kitchens and dining rooms or dining areas should you elect to do your own meals.
Are there any provisions for our training needs?
The camp has trainers on staff, on call and available at regular hours to all participants.
What about officials?
All games are officiated by qualified officials, many with experience at the highest levels of the game.
Is this a tournament?
The week is designed to provide preseason training and while there is ample opportunity to test your players in game situations, we do not hold a tournament or play for a championship. We often arrange official in-season games, however.
How is the week structured?
Teams are scheduled for a morning and/or an afternoon full field practice slot each day. Every night there are sessions under the lights. Early in the week these take the form of practice or round robin scrimmages and as the week progresses the evening times are given over to games. While teams are scheduled for approximately five to six hours of lacrosse daily, we encourage you to take some time off to enjoy your stay on the island.
What else is there to do during the week?
There are miles of broad, sandy beaches, including Sea Pines' beach and the Holiday Inn beach very near by. Bike trails cover the island and rentals are very affordable. Tennis is available and there are championship golf courses all over the island, including right outside your door in Harbour Town. Other activities include fishing, miniature golf, shopping, kayaking, movie theatres and a whole range of other vacation activities. Teams often elect to skip a session or more of practice in order to schedule some "R&R".
What is the cost?
Prices range depending upon the length of stay and whether or not a team elects to make use of our meal plan. Please call or email us and we will be happy to quote you an exact price based upon your specific circumstances.
Is there special pricing for coaches and chaperones?
We charge the coaches only housing costs and can offer you a number of different options, depending on your requirements. Call us so that we can quote you an exact price for staff. We do have a coaches’ comp policy that is based on the number of players attending from a team.
What is the timetable for deciding whether or not to attend?
There is a $100 deposit per player due on December 1st and the balance is due February 1st. It is necessary to know your plans well in advance so that we may reserve space for you.
Please feel free to call either email or call us. If we are not immediately available we will call back as soon as possible. Please leave a home number if you don't mind being contacted in the evening. We are looking forward to spring and lacrosse season!
